Role overview
Svitla Systems Inc., is looking for a Senior Engagement Manager (Project Manager & Business Analyst) for a full-time position in Mexico.
You will lead the day-to-day delivery of OutSystems projects. This is a hybrid role that combines project management and business analysis: you will plan and run delivery, and you will also elicit, shape, and own the requirements.
AI experience is very important for this role. You will help customers identify where AI adds value, define AI features clearly enough for engineers to build and test, and use AI tools to make requirements, documentation, and delivery faster and better.
This role is part of a dedicated Svitla team engaged under a 12-month agreement to deliver OutSystems projects for customers, working as one team with OutSystems Professional Services consultants and typically aligned to US business hours. Knowledge sharing runs both ways: you will learn OutSystems delivery practices directly from OutSystems Professional Services, and you will share your own knowledge and experience with them, in particular in AI.
Prior OutSystems experience is not required. We will provide structured training and certification at the start of the engagement, covering OutSystems platform fundamentals across OutSystems 11 (O11) and OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC), delivery methodology, estimating and planning OutSystems projects, and OutSystems AI capabilities, followed by hands-on learning on live projects. Experience with other low-code platforms is of great benefit but is not mandatory.
Requirements
-
Experience on at least one project that delivered AI or GenAI features, including defining the use case, requirements, and how success was measured.
-
Working understanding of large language models (LLMs), prompts, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agents, hallucination, and evaluation, enough to work closely with engineers and explain trade-offs to stakeholders.
-
Regular, hands-on use of GenAI tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot, in project management and business analysis work.
-
Awareness of responsible AI, data privacy, and human oversight requirements.
-
Significant experience delivering software projects in a combined or closely related project manager, business analyst, or delivery lead role.
-
Experience with requirements elicitation, process mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
-
Experience with agile delivery and backlog management in tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
-
Experience with estimation, scope, budget, and risk management.
-
Experience in client-facing stakeholder management, ideally in a consultancy or professional services setting.
-
Experience with user acceptance testing and release management.
-
Confident, credible communication with customer executives and delivery teams.
-
A structured and organized approach, with strong attention to detail.
-
Clear, concise writing for requirements, status reports, and decisions.
-
Skilled workshop facilitation, with the ability to align stakeholders with different priorities.
-
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure to it.
-
Collaboration across company boundaries, working as one team with OutSystems Professional Services.
-
Fluent professional English, written and spoken.
-
Will be a plus
-
Project management or business analysis experience on delivery projects on one or more enterprise low-code platforms, such as Microsoft Power Platform, Mendix, Appian, ServiceNow App Engine, Salesforce Platform, or Pega.
-
Understanding of how low-code changes delivery: faster prototyping, model-driven development, and the trade-offs between platform features and custom code.
-
Any prior exposure to OutSystems 11 (O11) or OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC).
-
Project management, agile, or business analysis certifications, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, Professional Scrum Master, IIBA CBAP, or IIBA CCBA.
-
Experience with prototyping and design tools, such as Figma.
-
Experience in regulated industries, such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, or government.
-
Degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities

-

-
Report status clearly to customer stakeholders and to Svitla and OutSystems Professional Services leadership.
-
Manage change requests and keep delivery aligned to agreed outcomes.
-
Coordinate Svitla and OutSystems Professional Services team members as one delivery team.
-
Lead user acceptance testing, release readiness, go-live, and hypercare.
-

-
Capture data, integration, reporting, and non-functional requirements.
-
Maintain traceability from business objectives through requirements to testing.
-

-
Define AI use cases with clear success measures, evaluation criteria, and human-in-the-loop controls.

-
Work with the Technical Lead to assess feasibility, data readiness, cost, and risk of AI features.
-
Make sure responsible AI, data privacy, and governance requirements are captured and met.
-
Use AI tools to draft requirements, summarize workshops, generate test scenarios, and produce documentation, with human review of every output.
-
Establish repeatable AI-assisted practices for requirements and delivery management.
-
Share these practices with OutSystems Professional Services and the wider team.
-
Learn and apply OutSystems delivery methodology and ways of working.
