Senior Engagement Manager, Professional Services, Korea

About the Role The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled Engagement Manager to lead delivery of complex cloud solution projects for our clients in Korea. You will blend technical depth with strong program management to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions, facilitate guidance across diverse stakeholders, and drive successful AWS-based implementations. You will apply AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework while developing domain-specific expertise and guiding teams toward customer outcomes. What You'll Do

• Lead and manage complex transformation programs and cloud solution delivery for clients in Korea.
• Bridge business requirements with technical solutions; distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and decompose complex problems.
• Facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment with customer outcomes; communicate effectively to both technical and business audiences.
• Apply AWS frameworks (Well-Architected, Cloud Adoption Framework); validate technical solutions against business goals; identify when additional technical evaluation is needed and manage technical risks.
• Develop domain-specific expertise and maintain relevant AWS certifications; shape cross-organizational technical strategies and establish best practices in your domain.
• Proactively manage project plans, risks, issues, and escalations; drive projects to successful completion while exceeding customer expectations. What We're Looking For
• Strong technology and program/project management experience.
• Technical credibility across diverse stakeholders; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and decompose problems.
• Experience facilitating discussions across technical and business teams; strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework; willingness to obtain/maintain AWS certifications.
• Track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope; proactive risk management.
• Ability to operate in a global professional services environment and influence cross-functional teams.
