About the Role Responsible for the design & development of highly-sophisticated communication products for professional and mission critical markets in the commercial, government and industrial segments. Utilize Modeling & Simulation Software to create and evaluate designs, including RF simulation in ADS/CST and Digital Signal Integrity simulation in Mentor Graphics and Cadence SI tool, prior to releasing the PCB layout Gerber for fabrication. Work with a team of highly-qualified engineers to generate innovative ideas and design communication systems that meet customer requirements. Engineers will be working on sub-circuits that consist of RF, Connectivity, LTE, digital controller, power and audio circuits. What You'll Do
- Design and development of highly-sophisticated communication products for professional and mission critical markets.
- Utilize Modeling & Simulation Software to create and evaluate designs, including RF simulation in ADS/CST and Digital Signal Integrity simulation in Mentor Graphics and Cadence SI tool, prior to PCB fabrication.
- Release PCB Gerber files for fabrication and work with a team to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to generate innovative ideas and design communication systems that meet customer requirements.
- Work on RF, Connectivity, LTE, digital controller, power and audio sub-circuits; sub-circuits include RF receivers, transmitters, VCOs, amplifiers, filters and mixers; digital/controller include microcontroller, logic and LCD; power/audio include batteries, voltage regulators, audio amplifiers, filters, speakers and microphones.
- Training will be provided where necessary. What We're Looking For
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Communication Engineering or related disciplines.
- Must know how to utilize RF equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies and multi-meters.
- At least 4-10 years of experience in Digital/ Bluetooth/ Wi-Fi/GPS/LTE related fields will be an added advantage.
- Simulation experience in ADS/PSPICE/SI tool will be an added advantage.
