About the Role Getinge is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join Sustain Engineering in Getinge. The role is a replacement hire and will play a key role in the continued development, maintenance and improvement of our medical devices. You will be part of a cross-functional R&D team of six with electronics and mechanical expertise, reporting to Anders Karlsson, Team Manager Sustaining Engineering. The role's primary responsibility is to develop, maintain and improve electronics solutions across the product lifecycle. What You'll Do
- Product development and further development of existing electronics solutions.
- Design, prototyping, testing and verification in a lab environment.
- Troubleshooting and technical analysis of products and support of field-related technical issues.
- Handling product improvements, deviations and engineering changes across the product lifecycle.
- Collaboration with colleagues in mechanical, electrical, production, service and other cross-functional teams.
- A mix of development work, hands-on lab work and problem-solving in a stimulating medical-technology environment. What We're Looking For
- Engineering degree of at least 3 years or equivalent technical education.
- About 5 years of experience in electrical design, product development or related industrial activity.
- Experience with electrical design, lab work and problem solving in a regulated environment.
