Summary: Provides technical leadership for electrical and power-monitoring systems in Microsoft data centers, overseeing designs from initial planning through construction, commissioning, and operation. Works with engineering consultants, vendors, procurement teams, construction teams, and Microsoft stakeholders to ensure systems meet Microsoft standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and review data center electrical and EPMS designs.
- Lead consultants across electrical system design and coordination.
- Oversee electrical systems through procurement, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
- Review drawings, specifications, electrical topology, and control sequences.
- Evaluate leased/colocation facilities for electrical compliance.
