About the Role Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for supporting Beckman Coulter Life Sciences product lines and sites. You will complete projects on time while adhering to Beckman quality and engineering standards. This role will address supply gaps, component obsolescence, and supplier transitions in a global procurement environment. The role is based in Indianapolis, IN and will be fully onsite. What You'll Do
- Support life sciences product lines and sites on a variety of engineering projects, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with Beckman quality and engineering standards.
- Address supply gap issues, component obsolescence, and product supplier transitions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams, applying critical thinking, customer focus, and drive for results.
- Identify alternative options that drive cost savings in the manufacturing process.
- Work within a fast-paced, global procurement environment and related change-control processes. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in product development and product engineering support roles, or 3+ years with a master’s degree.
- Experience working on a multidisciplinary team to solve identified problems.
- Experience with analog and digital circuits. Nice to Have
- Design changes in a structured design control/change environment for medical devices.
- Experience with microcontrollers and programmable logic devices, including embedded code.
- Experience using Cadence or CAD and Allegro for schematic capture and board layout.
