Senior eFront Reporting Consultant

Role overview

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior eFront Reporting Consultant for a full-time position (40 hours per week) on a short-term basis (up to 6 months) in Europe. Our client is a global financial services provider.

We are seeking a senior, hands-on eFront consultant to support one of our largest clients. The consultant will design and build new eFront reports and investigate, correct and improve existing reports created during the client onboarding. The role requires a strong combination of eFront technical expertise, private markets business knowledge and confident user-facing consulting skills.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with eFront Invest in senior development, reporting or technical consulting roles. A minimum of five years of relevant eFront experience is preferred.
• Demonstrable expertise in eFront FrontReport and FrontScript, including the development and troubleshooting of complex reports.
• Strong SQL skills and practical experience navigating the eFront data model, analysing relational data and explaining report logic.
• Proven experience fixing, enhancing or rebuilding reports in live client environments, including data reconciliation, regression testing and controlled deployment.
• Strong knowledge of closed-ended funds and private markets operations.
• Ability to lead requirements discussions with business users, translate incomplete or ambiguous requests into clear, actionable specifications, and manage expectations effectively.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills, with a strong focus on data accuracy and report presentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues in clear, business-friendly language.
• Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain eFront Invest reports using FrontReport, FrontScript, SQL and the relevant eFront data model.

• Review existing reports delivered during client onboarding, identify defects or gaps in logic, data selection, calculations, formatting and performance, and implement sustainable fixes.

• Work directly with business users and client stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, clarify expected outputs and agree on acceptance criteria.

• Translate private markets and fund administration requirements into practical eFront reporting solutions, taking ownership of requirements clarification and solution design.

• Analyse data and reconcile report outputs against eFront screens, source records, accounting information and agreed business examples.

• Investigate production issues, identify root causes and implement fixes, supported by appropriate testing and evidence.

• Evaluate whether requirements can be met using standard eFront functionality before introducing custom logic, and clearly communicate the associated trade-offs.

• Support unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), release preparation and controlled deployment across eFront environments.

• Communicate progress, risks, assumptions and blockers clearly to technical and business stakeholders.

• Work independently, prioritise assigned tasks and deliver high-quality results within agreed deadlines.

• Transfer knowledge to the internal eFront team and ensure solutions are well documented and maintainable.
