Senior Editor, SuperSTEM
About this role
About the Role The Senior Editor of SuperSTEM will be an integral part of Scholastic's editorial team, supporting the Editorial Director on all matters related to SuperSTEM and stepping in on high-level tasks as needed. You will write feature articles, edit freelance pieces, oversee multiple departments with minimal supervision, and help develop teacher resources and digital materials to accompany the student edition.
What You'll Do
- Be a self-directed, high-level contributor to the editorial process from ideation to publication for student- and teacher-facing materials, both print and digital, for SuperSTEM.
- Work with the Education Editor to align content with NGSS and state science standards and to conceive multidisciplinary STEM packages (lesson plans, activity sheets, hands-on experiments, slideshows) that fulfill our product promises.
