About the Role The Senior Driver Technician operates a DOT-regulated vehicle safely and transports materials/equipment between customer locations. This role initiates and executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner, including proactive system troubleshooting and working with mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment as required by the role/customer. What You'll Do
- Safely operate and maintain a DOT-regulated vehicle, transporting materials and equipment between sites.
- Initiate and execute field service activities at customer locations with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Perform proactive system troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment as required by the role.
- Interface directly with customers and may support multiple systems/locations/customers.
- Create and maintain a safe working environment and protect company property.
- Collaborate in a team, but be able to work independently when needed.
- Adhere to company safety policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., MVR, DOT, medical cert). What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Capable of obtaining CDL Class A or B with applicable endorsements.
- Willingness to travel 20-80% (overnight stays) and drive overnight; cross-border with valid passport; weight distribution knowledge.
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card and all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.).
- Clean driving record.
- 2 to 5 years of technical work experience, including industrial or commercial process water.
- Ability to drive overnight and to cross borders; ability to drive difficult routes.
- Ability to understand weight requirements / weight distribution.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and solve problems; strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices. Nice to Have
