Senior Drill Fitters – FIFO from Brisbane to Papua New Guinea
About the role
As a Senior Drill Fitter, you’ll play a key role in keeping Epiroc’s underground and surface mining equipment operating safely and efficiently.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Carrying out repairs, rebuilds, servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and RCS faults
- Working across both field and workshop environments
- Providing technical support and guidance to customers and team members
- Supporting the safe and efficient operation of Epiroc equipment
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship
What we’re looking for
- Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel, Mechanical, Electrical or a related trade
- Strong experience working with heavy mobile equipment
- Experience in field service, maintenance or equipment rebuilds
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- A commitment to safety and quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Epiroc product or rotary blast hole drill experience highly regarded
