Job title: Senior Director, Supply Planning

About the Role This Senior Director will lead Skyworks’ Supply Planning team for one or more business units. The individual will report into the Vice President of Skyworks’ Global Supply Chain and be responsible for generating material plans and factory build plans while ensuring customer satisfaction via on-time delivery metrics. The role leads a team of professionals across multiple geographic locations worldwide and drives automation and capability using Skyworks’ supply chain planning tools. You will collaborate with Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, Factories, OSATs, Foundries, Logistics, and IT to improve and automate supply chain execution, and contribute to the company’s overall strategy and Digital Roadmap.

What You'll Do

  • DRI for all supply planning activities for one or more business units, with objectives of meeting on-time delivery and fulfilling customer supply requirements at the lowest cost.
  • Define supply chain requirements for Advanced Planning Software and Execution systems to increase automation, predictability, and speed.
  • Ensure integrity of key data inputs to Skyworks’ Advanced Planning Software (BOMs, factory yields, cycle times, product lifecycle information).
  • Align planning outputs with actual execution across the supply chain and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, Factories, OSATs, Foundries, Logistics, and IT to improve and automate supply chain and execution efficiencies.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the Supply Chain organization; measure and track KPIs including on-time delivery.
  • Manage direct reports, focusing on training, knowledge sharing, and career development across the supply chain and partner organizations.
  • Manage escalations with Sales and Demand Management in a timely manner.
  • Apply understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, advanced planning, and Digital Roadmap transformations to shape the supply chain roadmap.
  • Establish benchmarking frameworks and steps for continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in supply chain management with extensive knowledge of advanced planning software and ERP software.
  • Implementation experience of advanced planning and/or ERP software solutions a plus.
  • Knowledge of advanced data management and product lifecycle software tools; experience with such solutions a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in driving supply chain excellence; creative problem-solving and ability to analyze large datasets; cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams across multiple regions and countries.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Experience implementing advanced data management and product lifecycle software solutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus.
