Senior Director of Communications

At Zotec, our purpose is to make healthcare work better for everyone. We’re looking for a communications leader who can find the story in our work, help leaders tell it well, and turn business priorities into communications people understand and act on.

You’ll lead communications for assigned initiatives and teams across Zotec, with responsibility for both strategy and delivery. You’ll work directly with leaders, bring audiences together through our established advisory council, and develop additional business meetings as needs arise. Strong writing and design skills will help you create work that gets attention, explains what matters, and serves a clear purpose.

What you’ll do

• Develop communications plans and advise leaders on messages, audiences, channels, and timing.

• Lead content across presentations, email, digital channels, reports, and events.

• Use storytelling, visuals, and data to make complex information clear and engaging.

• Guide contributors and personally write and design materials for key initiatives.

• Lead advisory council planning, content, presenter preparation, meeting delivery, and follow-up.

• Turn audience feedback into recommendations and track agreed next steps.

• Develop additional business meetings and manage other assigned meetings and events.

• Manage priorities, partners, and resources, and evaluate results to improve the work.

• Maintain consistent messaging and support public relations as needed.

• What you’ll bring

• Seven or more years of communications experience, including three years leading strategy, programs, or teams.

• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

• Strong design and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate data visually.

• Experience advising leaders and delivering work across departments.

• Sound judgment, curiosity, and a record of following through.

• A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Healthcare technology, financial services, or related industry experience is preferred.

• This is a hybrid position requiring regular presence in our Carmel, Indiana office.
