About the Role The Senior Director, Compliance Business Partner is a leadership role within Madrigal focused on establishing and overseeing a robust compliance program to enable safe, compliant development and commercialization of therapeutics. The role partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive regulatory adherence, ethical business practices, and risk mitigation across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Partner with senior leadership across functions to design, implement, and monitor compliance programs
- Advise on regulatory, privacy, and anti-corruption matters; lead risk assessments and remediation efforts
- Lead investigations and coordinate corrective actions, audits, and training programs
- Collaborate with Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, and Commercial teams to ensure policies and controls are aligned with business objectives
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading compliance programs in biopharma or healthcare
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, privacy laws, anti-corruption frameworks (e.g., FCPA), and global standards
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and program leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCEP, CHC) a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience working in metabolic diseases or liver-focused therapeutics
- Prior exposure to operations at public or growing biotech companies
