About the Role Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for delivering technical solutions across the project lifecycle from onboarding to post-launch support; bridging development and operations, with a focus on automating and streamlining our software delivery pipeline. You will work across infrastructure, CI/CD, and cross-functional teams to drive robust, scalable deployments. What You'll Do
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Terraform, ensuring consistent provisioning of resources.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment; integrate CI/CD tools with version control systems and artifact repositories.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Package applications with Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes for scalability and resilience.
- Automation Scripting: Develop automation scripts in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Batch to streamline operational tasks, and implement automated monitoring/alerting.
- Configuration Management: Implement and manage Ansible to ensure environment consistency, enforcing configuration standards and best practices.
- Collaboration with Development and Operations: Work with development teams to optimize deployment processes and with operations teams for smooth production transitions.
- Security and Compliance: Apply security best practices for infrastructure and deployments; ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring tools and centralized logging for proactive performance tracking and troubleshooting.
- Cloud Services Management: Manage AWS resources, optimize costs, and monitor cloud spend.
- Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and periodically test their effectiveness. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in a DevOps role with a focus on automation and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Batch).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience in managing Windows servers and IIS.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Strong understanding of configuration management tools (Ansible).
- Experience with AWS.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; solid problem-solving ability. Nice to Have
- Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Serverless computing experience.
- Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.
- Experience with other cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with Rundeck, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
