About the Role
Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, using Terraform, Kubernetes, and related tools. You will own CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, security, and observability to enable fast, reliable deployments of ShrineDev's SaaS platform used by millions of consumers and thousands of partners. This 100% remote, contract full-time role offers the opportunity to influence technical decisions and drive value across enterprise clients.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, Kubernetes, and other relevant tools.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and automated application deployments.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and security controls to ensure health, performance, and security of infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and influence technical decisions within the DevOps practice.
- Triage and resolve on-call incidents, optimize processes, and stay current with DevOps trends.
- What We're Looking For
- At least 6+ years as a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in AWS and Terraform.
- Strong foundation in core networking, security, and compliance.
- Experience building infrastructure to support microservices and event-driven architecture using Serverless, Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficient with CI/CD pipelines, shell scripting, and instrumentation/monitoring solutions (Datadog).
- Proponent of infrastructure-as-code, least privilege access, observability, and other DevOps best practices.
- Experience collaborating with software engineers developing serverless and containerized platforms.
- Effective communicator and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
