About the Role
Senior Design Engineer designs and assists customers in the design of semi-custom Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) and board-level systems. This role focuses on delivering effective electronic design solutions that meet customer objectives.
What You'll Do
- Architect, codes, synthesizes, simulates, tests and debugs electronic systems.
- Provide estimates for completion of tasks and activities.
- Understand customer business and technical objectives to determine the optimum tools, devices, and methods the company can offer to assist in the achievement of those objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, devices and methods to support achieving customer objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing semi-custom ASICs and FPGAs and board-level systems.
- Proficiency in architecture, coding, synthesis, simulation, testing, and debugging of electronic designs.
- Ability to understand customer objectives and translate them into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of Verilog/VHDL, ASIC/FPGA design methodologies and relevant EDA tools.
