Job title: Senior Delegated Authority Analyst

About the Role Senior Delegated Authority Analyst within Talbot's DA team, reporting to the DA Manager. You’ll help enhance current processes, bordereaux management, and reporting while onboarding Coverholders and Delegated Claims Administrators, ensuring alignment with Talbot's strategy and Lloyd's principles.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and improve current processes and bordereaux management workflows
  • Review new business submissions to ensure alignment with Talbot’s strategy and appetite, with appropriate sign-offs
  • On-board Coverholders and Delegated Claims Administrators; monitor performance
  • Collaborate with Senior Claims Delegated Authority Analyst to ensure compliance with Delegated Authority Framework and Lloyd’s principles
  • Monitor Coverholder and DCA performance and perform periodic due diligence reviews
  • Conduct or assist in reviews of Binding Authority Agreements and DA Admin contracts
  • Assist in administering the Delegated Authority Audit Programme; schedule and scope audits; analyze audit reports and track recommendations
  • Liaise with underwriters, claims adjusters, brokers, external auditors, and Lloyd’s; provide technical advice on DA matters
  • Prepare committee packs and present to committees when requested; escalate breaches to appropriate forums
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders; mentor other DA team members and provide training (including Lineslip training) across the business

  • Experience of Delegated Authority Practices with strong Lloyd’s regulatory knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of Conduct Risk and Product Oversight
  • Ability to manage workload, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines
  • Proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present to Senior Management

Nice to Have

  • Lineslip training experience or willingness to deliver training to internal and external stakeholders
