About the Role We are seeking a Senior Data Transformation & Regulatory Reporting Lead to collaborate with business stakeholders, drive discovery and due diligence, and execute roadmaps for 12-24 months. The role includes reviewing reporting processes, data flows, policies, standards and procedures; ensuring data quality and governance; and coordinating across offshore and onsite teams to deliver regulatory reporting capabilities. What You'll Do
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to conduct gap assessments, map data and gaps, and perform impact assessments.
- Engage with multiple business streams to execute discovery due diligence and plan a 12-24 month roadmap.
- Review reporting processes, data flows, policies, standards, procedures, business processes, critical data elements (CDEs) and data lineage.
- Map and gap reporting field-level data from source to target; obtain approvals from business and technical stakeholders on design and execution.
- Review and opine on data quality controls, data dictionary, and data management standards; drive operational efficiencies in the reporting process for risk, regulatory and financial filings.
- Prioritize and execute business requirements, drive data testing, oversee reconciliation, and oversee phased data migration.
- Conduct workshops with business and technology teams for training, and coordinate with offshore and onsite team members to fulfill BA responsibilities.
- Create flow diagrams, structure charts and other system/process representations; manage changes via change control.
- Use standard processes, design and testing tools throughout the project life cycle; work with operations and technology teams to align requirements and priorities. What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in leading/execution of data transformation projects.
- Knowledge of OCC and FRB reporting for large banks covering financial, risk management and regulatory reporting filings.
- Regulatory filings knowledge including FRY 14, FRY 15, 9C, FFIEC 101, 102, etc.
- Strong understanding of Banking products lifecycle – Retail, Commercial, Credit, Counterparty, traded products; and product lifecycle – Credit, Counterparty, ALM, treasury management.
- Data analysis skills: SQL queries, data reconciliation, ability to create inner/outer joins.
- Relevant experience in financial industry with data flows, ETL and data mapping.
- Hands-on experience working on regulatory-driven or regulatory remediation projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact extensively with users.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Strong analytical capabilities to break complex problems into simpler components.
- Institutional Compliance experience (mandatory). Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 80,000 - 158,000 per year.
