Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Quality & Snowflake Migration Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, data migration, data integration, and data quality controls. The role will focus on ensuring data is accurately profiled, validated, transformed, reconciled, and migrated from legacy and source systems into Snowflake.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with complex enterprise datasets and implementing data quality controls throughout the migration lifecycle, from source assessment through production validation. The candidate's experience includes data migrations, integrations, Snowflake development, data analysis, mapping, and data-quality implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data quality controls for large-scale data migrations into Snowflake.
• Perform source data profiling and analysis to identify completeness, accuracy, consistency, duplication, and formatting issues.
• Define and implement pre-migration and post-migration validation controls.
• Develop SQL-based data quality rules, validation queries, and exception reporting.
• Perform source-to-target mapping, field mapping, transformation analysis, and fit-gap assessments.
• Develop Snowflake SQL and ETL/ELT processes for data cleansing, transformation, migration, and integration.
• Implement data reconciliation controls to validate record counts, key attributes, transformations, and source-to-target data accuracy.
• Identify migration exceptions, investigate data-quality defects, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate remediation.
• Implement data cleansing, standardization, validation, duplicate identification, and data integrity controls.
• Build automated data validation and processing solutions using SQL and Python.
• Create Snowflake views, data extracts, dashboards, and exception reports to support migration monitoring and validation.
• Support migration testing, UAT, production cutover, and post-migration data validation.
• Work closely with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data quality acceptance criteria and migration controls.
