Job Description

We are looking for two Senior Data Orchestration & AI Engineers to design, develop and support an AI-enabled platform that coordinates data movement and automates workflows across AWS and on-premises environments.

The platform combines Python services, enterprise integrations and AI/LLM capabilities to analyse requests, recommend actions and automate workflows, with strong monitoring, security and auditability.

Your responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python services and REST APIs supporting the Data Orchestration Platform.

Integrate AI/LLM capabilities for request analysis, intelligent recommendations and workflow automation.

Build orchestration workflows connecting cloud services, on-premises systems and enterprise applications.

Implement secure data movement through S3, SMB/NFS file systems and APIs.

Develop monitoring, logging, security controls and audit mechanisms.

Create automated tests, deployment pipelines, technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and production support.

Requirements

• Required experience

• At least five years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, cloud engineering or a related field.

• Strong hands-on Python development skills.

• Practical experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic AI, prompt engineering, structured LLM outputs and human-in-the-loop workflows.

• Good knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, Git, automated testing and secure application development.

• Experience with AWS and hybrid cloud/on-premises environments.

• Understanding of data movement technologies, including S3, SMB, NFS and API-based integrations.

• Working knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring, security and auditability.

• Experience that would be an advantage

• AWS services such as S3, IAM, CloudWatch, EFS and DataSync.

• Vector search, semantic search and AI evaluation.

• Terraform, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes.

• Robot Framework or comparable test automation tools.

• Jira and ServiceNow.

• Scientific or laboratory data, regulated environments, data integrity and GxP processes.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience is also welcome.
