Benchmark is an AI-powered intelligence platform serving more than 30 universities and conferences across college athletics. We have established strong product-market fit and are looking for an experienced engineer to help scale our data platform and product as we continue to grow.
This is a high-ownership role focused on:
- Data-pipeline and ETL architecture
- Python, SQL, pandas, and data modeling
- Dagster or similar orchestration platforms
- Snowflake or similar data warehouses
- Web scraping and automated data collection
- AI-assisted engineering and LLM APIs
- Full-stack product development
The engineer will report to and work directly with the CTO, with significant autonomy over technical decisions and execution.
The position is full-time and based in South Bend, Indiana, with a hybrid/in-office working style. Substantial professional data or software engineering experience is required; five or more years is preferred.
