Senior Data Engineer - Strategic Monitoring

From January 2026, office attendance will be mandatory three days per week. What You'll Do

• Work on the Strategic Monitoring solution to deliver capabilities: analyze payments, approval requests, and expense claims retrospectively using analytic models.
• Develop and maintain the analytical environment and run analytic models; generate alerts for investigations based on predefined scenarios.
• Create and maintain data processing pipelines using Python, PySpark/Scala for large data volumes.
• Work with databases (SQL, Oracle, Hive, Impala) and Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform components (DataProc, AirFlow, Google Cloud Storage) for data workflows and storage.
• Operate in Unix/Linux environments; work with Big Data and Hadoop ecosystem: Spark, Spark SQL, Dataframes, PySpark, Hue, Parquet files.
• Apply DevOps practices such as CI/CD.
• Adhere to the hybrid work policy (from January 2026, 3 days per week in the Bucharest office). What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering / analytics or similar.
• Strong skills with Python and PySpark/Scala for processing large data volumes.
• Good knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracle, Hive, Impala).
• Relevant experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and other Python libraries.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (DataProc, AirFlow, Google Cloud Storage).
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Big Data and Hadoop Ecosystem: Spark (Spark SQL, Dataframes, PySpark, Hue, parquet files).
