About the Role The Senior Data Engineer will build data pipelines, data structures, and data products to enable data-driven decisions across Paramount Digital Media. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into practical solutions and scalable BI capabilities. The role requires curiosity, experimentation, and a passion for turning disparate data into actionable insights.
What You'll Do
- Build and optimize data pipelines, data structures, and data products; communicate data structures and tools across the organization.
- Apply reverse engineering, analytics, and creative, experimental approaches to devise data and BI solutions using disparate data sources.
- Support data pipeline development, including machine learning algorithms, with large volumes of traffic data and user behaviors.
- Collaborate with BI, Research, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to implement data-driven plans.
- Lead projects from inception to completion and mentor junior team members on standard processes around data.
- Break down highly complex data problems into simple, feasible solutions; extract patterns from large datasets.
