About the Role Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, test and implement data engineering solutions to enable analytical and reporting capabilities and support data science outcomes. You will analyze and prepare the data needed for data science outcomes, manage and maintain metadata structures, and provide post-deployment support as needed. You will also design and build automations and incorporate low-code/no-code solutions to accelerate development cycle time. What You'll Do

- Leverage technical data dictionaries and business glossaries to analyze datasets.
- Perform data profiling and data analysis for source systems and target data repositories.
- Understand metadata and underlying data structures needed to standardize data load processes.
- Develop data mapping specifications based on data analysis and functional requirements.
- Perform data loads and transformations using multiple tools and technologies.
- Build automated Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) jobs based on data mapping specifications.
- Validate the data mapping results against expected results.
- Leverage/Implement Data Quality (DQ) rules provided.
- Work with data warehousing, Big Data environments and streaming data platforms (e.g., Kafka) and unstructured data (XML, JSON) as needed.
- Exposure to ETL tools like Matillion or Informatica, Databricks, and low code/no code tools such as Microsoft Copilot or GitHub Copilot. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience.
- Technical expertise in logical and physical data models, big data storage architecture, metadata management, master data management and data lineage techniques.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Redshift, Glue, RDS, Step Functions, S3, SageMaker, Kinesis).
- Hands-on experience in Python and Unix.
- Proficiency in writing SQL for Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with OLTP and OLAP data models, data warehousing and Big Data; Kafka; exposure to unstructured data (XML, JSON).
- Experience with ETL tools such as Matillion or Informatica, and exposure to Databricks.
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools like Microsoft Copilot or GitHub Copilot. Compensation & Benefits
