We are looking for Senior Data Engineer
Project Details:
- Location: European Union
- Contract type: Full-time, freelance B2B
- Rate: 150-175 PLN/h
- Start: asap
- Duration: 3-6 months (with possibilty of extension)
Requirements
Must-have:
- At least 4 years of experience in software or data engineering
- Experience working on projects within a development team
- Strong Python skills for building data pipelines, with hands-on experience in Databricks and dbt
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with data mapping
- Good understanding of the JSON data format
- Experience integrating with REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with event streaming and topics (Kafka / Debezium)
- Experience in data validation
- Experience writing data unit tests and integration tests
- Knowledge of Data Vault modeling
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- English proficiency sufficient to read technical documentation fluently, handle business correspondence, and communicate verbally with international external vendors
Nice to have:
- University degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience working with applications in distributed environments
- Experience using AI tools in automated workflows
