Role Overview As an Oracle Data Center Technician, you will be a vital liaison between our engineering teams and the physical data center operations environment. You will apply your WaV2T-acquired skills to troubleshoot and resolve server, network, and facilities issues, ensuring Oracle’s cloud services remain robust and reliable. Your experience with mission-critical operations, documentation, and structured procedures will enable you to thrive in Oracle’s dynamic, round-the-clock data centers.

Join Oracle in the Somerset, New Jersey area and play a key role in supporting the growth and reliability of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). In this hands-on data center role, you’ll support onsite expansion deployments, installations, hardware break/fix, materials planning and receiving, vendor coordination, and customer scheduling. You’ll work closely with deployment teams and customers to keep projects on track, meet critical SLAs, and ensure smooth, on-time handoffs, helping deliver the dependable infrastructure our customers count on as OCI continues to scale.

Oversees technicians participation in training to advance their understandings and refine technicians' skill set, meeting requirements. Facilitates collaboration with development teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical problems, providing subject matter expertise around large scale matters.
