About the Role Ubisoft Pune is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to enable data-driven decisions for LiveOps events, feature launches, and updates. You will build datasets and dashboards, monitor live game KPIs (DAU, retention, churn, ARPU, session metrics), and deliver actionable insights to leadership. What You'll Do
- Define datasets and dashboards to support LiveOps decisions.
- Track and report KPIs (DAU, Retention, Churn, ARPU, session metrics) and produce daily/weekly/monthly reports on player behavior, performance, engagement, and monetization trends.
- Proactively identify patterns, anomalies, and trends; recommend data-driven improvements for leadership.
- Collaborate with local and international stakeholders to create clear and accurate dashboards.
- Identify drop-offs in purchase funnels and payment failures; contribute to reducing revenue leakage.
- Own quarterly and yearly licensing reporting related to streaming costs for maps played.
- Innovate analytics by suggesting new KPIs, dashboards, and reporting improvements; explore new tools and visualization practices.
- Contribute to evolving analytics strategies for a fast-moving mobile game and optimize processes. What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Experience with live products, mobile games, or digital services is a plus.
- Core analytics skills: strong analytical thinking, data interpretation, understanding of data types, data structures and statistics; metrics-driven decision making.
- Data & Database Technologies: 3+ years of experience with SQL; understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases; knowledge of Hive DB, file formats, and data flow pipelines; exposure to Python for data analysis or automation.
- Visualization & Platforms: 3+ years of experience with Databricks, Power BI, and similar visualization tools; ability to build and maintain clear, actionable dashboards.
- Additional traits: Passion for analytics, games, and live service models; curious about new trends in data, visualization, and player behavior analysis; detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused. Nice to Have
- Experience with live/mobile games or digital services is a plus.
