About the Role EY is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Microsoft Defender to serve as a subject matter expert for Defender XDR within the CMS TDR team. This role combines architecture and hands-on delivery to help grow EY's Defender service offering and secure client environments. What You'll Do
- Architecting and implementing Defender XDR for complex client environments.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Microsoft Defender for the customer; apply the capabilities of the solution in daily operations.
- Secure overall cloud environments by applying cybersecurity tools and best practices.
- Advise customers on best practices and use cases to achieve customer end-state requirements.
- Develop content including automated security event monitoring and alerting processes along with corresponding event response plans for systems. What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender and related technologies (Windows Defender, Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Defender for IoT).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
