Senior Cyber & Tech PI Underwriter

About the Role Zurich is seeking a senior Cyber & Tech PI Underwriter to shape and grow our Cyber & Tech PI portfolio in Sweden and the Nordics. The role combines deep technical underwriting with commercial judgment, market development, and cross-functional collaboration; based in Stockholm or Copenhagen. What You'll Do

• Lead and execute underwriting plan for Cyber & Tech PI, with a focus on technical risk selection, pricing discipline and portfolio optimization.
• Manage complex risks with a mandate to drive profitable and sustainable growth, and collaborate with Claims, Actuarial and Portfolio Management to shape the strategy.
• Build trusted partnerships with customers, brokers and internal stakeholders; mentor colleagues and work with management to execute the underwriting strategy.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across the Cyber vertical within Global Specialty and across the Nordic region.
• Translate strategy into action, prioritise effectively and deliver through collaboration, with strong customer and market focus. What We're Looking For
• Proven experience as a Cyber and/or Tech PI underwriter or broker, with a strong network and a track record of delivering profitable growth.
• Deep understanding of Cyber and/or Tech PI exposures, controls, insurance wording, and current market trends.
• Strong technical underwriting expertise with a commitment to risk quality and good governance.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with ability to interpret financial information, understand P&L drivers and make decisions that support portfolio performance.
• Experience working across different market and business cycles, with the ability to adapt trading strategies accordingly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C2).
• Proficiency in Swedish, or another Nordic language is considered an advantage. Nice to Have
