About the Role Senior Cyber Embedded Software Engineer responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing secure embedded systems. You’ll perform vulnerability analysis, develop source and binary patches, and create new secure solutions as part of a small multi-disciplinary team, exploring technologies through hands-on experimentation, static analysis, and document research to solve hard security challenges. What You'll Do
- Architect, design, and implement secure embedded systems for security-focused products
- Perform vulnerability analysis of existing systems and develop source and binary patches
- Develop proofs-of-concept, requirements, designs, testing procedures, and write whitepapers to win new business
- Collaborate with a small, multi-disciplinary team and conduct hands-on experimentation and static analysis to understand hardware-software interactions and ensure compliance with network protocol and security standards
- Apply knowledge of hardware-software interaction at the register level and leverage networking protocol security standards to deliver secure solutions What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science
- Experience programming in C, C++, Python
- Experience with disassembly tools (Ghidra, IDA Pro, Radare2) and debug tools (GDB, JTAG)
- Experience with Wireshark; understanding of executable file formats (ELF, PE), linkers, and compilers
- Familiarity with OSI model layer 3+ networking protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, TLS, SIP, SRTP)
- Experience reading, writing, and analyzing ARM, MIPS, PPC, or x86 assembly
- Strong knowledge of security principles (data separation, side-channel attacks, least-privilege, access controls, encryption protocols, key exchanges)
- Proficient in Linux, C, C++, Python; capable of real-time embedded software design
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; ability to work with minimal supervision; flexible and results-oriented
