Job title: Senior Customer Success Engineer - Canada

About the Role Join Cyera as a Senior Customer Success Engineer focused on helping customers across Canada maximize value from Cyera's platform. You will serve as the primary technical expert, trusted advisor, and driver of adoption and ROI, enabling customers to succeed with Cyera at scale. Travel between 25-50% annually to engage directly with clients and strengthen relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary technical expert on the Cyera Platform, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and expertise.
  • Establish trust with customers at all levels, from practitioners to executives.
  • Drive adoption through effective onboarding and training, and design customized use cases using a consultative approach.
  • Ensure customers realize full value and maximize ROI by driving sustained platform adoption; lead ongoing engagement and expansion.
  • Proactively identify and resolve blockers, collaborating with peers; advocate for the customer's voice to influence Cyera's roadmap.
  • Utilize self-paced training resources to educate customers and promote knowledge growth.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting customers; monitor health and usage indicators; develop joint success plans.
  • Document and share best practices internally and externally; mentor teammates and participate in interview processes.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with customers to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years of experience with strong project management skills; able to plan, organize, and execute multiple initiatives with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments; results-oriented with a track record of revenue growth, customer satisfaction, feature adoption, and retention.
  • Prior experience collaborating with Development teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Python or equivalent), and hands-on cloud environment experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with data technologies and cloud technologies, including databases, cloud infrastructure, and IAM/permissions.
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages and familiarity with APIs and web services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in DLP, Data Privacy/Protection, DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management (hands-on preferred).
  • Prior experience in a software company in a technical customer-facing role; proven ability to own customer relationships (onboarding, renewal, expansion).
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills; capable of leading executive meetings and technical workshops; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Able to work autonomously, tackle complex challenges, and contribute with limited documentation; proactive in seeking assistance for more complex initiatives.

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated expertise in DLP, Data Privacy/Protection, DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management with hands-on experience (preferred).
