Job title: Senior Credit Analyst

About the Role As a Senior Credit Analyst within Atradius's Special Risk Management (SRM) team, you will monitor a portfolio of distressed companies across France, Africa, Belgium and Israel, conduct financial analysis, and support credit decisions to protect Atradius while assisting policyholders.

What You'll Do

• Perform financial analysis and ongoing monitoring of distressed companies located in France, Africa, Belgium and Israel.
• Collect economic and financial information through regular discussions with the CFOs/treasurers of the portfolio companies.
• Present files to the credit committee and, within the scope of your risk authority, respond to guarantee requests from policyholders.
• Act as the responsible underwriter, ensuring sound risk assessment and resolution of issues related to credit decisions.
• Develop strong working relationships: be the key contact for buyers, policyholders and introducers, and participate in strategic meetings, especially in crisis situations.
• Collaborate with the SRM Recovery team to minimize losses.
• Provide support to underwriting teams and be recognized as an expert on sensitive matters by stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience as a credit analyst / underwriter (preferably within a credit insurance company) on French and international cases.
• Regular interaction with company executives in previous roles.
• Rigour, analytical and synthesis skills; ability to make decisions in a complex environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a results-driven mindset: you know how to persuade, bring people together and deliver solutions.
• Master’s degree with a finance specialization.
• Full fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Mobility with occasional travel to meet buyers, clients and partners in the region.
• Experience in export underwriting and/or cross-border risk exposures is considered a strong asset.
