About the Role Senior Counsel, Technology Transactions will provide strategic legal leadership on technology-related transactions, licensing, and IP matters. This full-time role partners with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to structure and negotiate complex agreements that enable innovative products while mitigating legal risk.
What You'll Do
- Lead drafting and negotiation of technology licenses, SaaS, cloud, data processing, and vendor agreements.
- Advise on data privacy, security, IP rights, open source compliance, and regulatory considerations affecting technology transactions.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and commercial teams to implement scalable contracting playbooks and standard terms.
- Provide practical legal guidance and risk assessment to support go-to-market strategies and cross-border deals.
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent; admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 7+ years of experience in technology transactions, licensing, and IP licensing.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills; adept cross-functional partner.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global company; remote-friendly.
Nice to Have
- In-house technology transactions experience; familiarity with regulatory privacy regimes; experience with cloud providers, data security frameworks.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 154,000 per year (range may vary by location and experience).
