About the Role Join Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects as a Senior Cost Manager supporting ANS Communications, Media & Technology – Soben – Data Center projects. You’ll lead cost estimation, cost planning, and lifecycle cost management to help deliver critical data center infrastructure. This role blends client-facing collaboration onsite with rigorous cost control and value engineering to enable smarter, safer, and more sustainable builds.
What You'll Do
- Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking reports
- Develop Value Engineering and Life Cycle Costing options
- Identify risks, support risk registers, and contribute to pre-contract and procurement processes
- Attend client and design team meetings, advise on cost implications, and capture key actions
- Assist with lease negotiations, change orders, invoices, cost reports, and development appraisals
- Contribute to project templates, draft qualification questionnaires, and take on additional duties as required
- Onsite at client locations to enable delivery and cultivate client relationships, with in-person collaboration as needed
What We're Looking For
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in cost estimating or quantity surveying
- Proficient in CostX advanced functions to produce estimates and bills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Strong contact preparation skills and post-contract administration skills
- Project close-out skills
- Team player with clear verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
Nice to Have
- Experience working with data centers or similar mission-critical projects
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar cognate qualification
- MRICS status
- Knowledge of relevant construction technologies and trends (e.g., Sustainability)
- Field experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 140,000 - 165,000 per year
- Compensation varies by location, role, skill set and experience; benefits vary by country and role
