Job title: Senior Controls Engineer
About the Role Senior Controls Engineer will join the Controls Engineering team focusing on vehicle electrification, autonomous vehicle, and overall vehicle electronics/controls. You will spend time around machines and high voltage during projects and use Simulink & Stateflow to develop embedded control models.
What You'll Do
- Develop and validate control algorithms for EV/AV/vehicle electronics using model-based development with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow Real-Time Workshop, Embedded Coder, or ETAS INCA
- Work around machines/high-voltage hardware on projects, including hardware-in-the-loop activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable embedded model-based solutions for commercial vehicle ecosystems
- Design, implement, and test control software for electrified and autonomous systems
What We're Looking For
- BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience with proficiency in model-based development using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow Real Time Workshop, Embedded Coder, or ETAS INCA
- Experience with 3D printing
- Experience working on Autonomous vehicles
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Synergy, ClearCase, StarTeam, and/or Subversion
- Ability to safely work in, under, and around machines high-voltage environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 90,000 - 140,000 per year
