Job title: Senior Consultant, Product Control, Integrated Portfolio Services (IPS)

About the Role The Senior Consultant will be the primary liaison for hedge fund clients, explaining how trading P&L is generated and how valuations are sourced. This role sits within Product Control for Hedge Fund Services (HFS) and is responsible for valuation, daily/monthly P&L reporting, pricing substantiation, and end-of-day risk reporting, ensuring valuation accuracy via cross‑functional collaboration.

What You'll Do

  • Manage daily P&L process support for multiple HFS clients.
  • Daily review of quality control checks, resolving exceptions, and triggering price challenges or re-valuation requests on behalf of clients.
  • Engage with clients to explain P&L differences and respond to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with offshore Product Control team (India) on QC processes and migration of work.
  • Deliver final daily (and month-end) P&L statements to clients.
  • Understand and explain key drivers behind P&L movements.
  • Prepare/manage monthly (or more frequent) price verification processes and reporting.
  • Update and maintain pricing policies for each financial type in client portfolios.
  • Prepare presentations and analyses on process improvements, valuation analysis, and technology enhancements.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience in Valuations, Alternative asset operations, P&L/Performance, or related fields.
  • Experience in middle office, product control, valuation or audit environments.
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting preferred.
  • Understanding of trade lifecycle, pricing, and valuation of multiple asset classes (FI, rates derivatives, credit derivatives, equities, FX).
  • Experience with pricing vendors such as Markit, BVAL, LoanX, IDC/ICE, etc.
  • Strong Excel skills; VBA, Python or other programming language to format large data sets is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under deadlines.
  • Understanding of daily P&L processes (T+0, T+1) and valuation discrepancy resolution.
  • Knowledge of alternative investment custodians, administrators, and service providers.

Nice to Have

  • VBA, Python or other programming language skills to format large data sets (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $83,100 - $141,300 USD (annual).
