Senior Consultant, Legal Counsel
The Role at a Glance We're excited to add a Senior Consultant, Legal Counsel to support our Absence Management product portfolio. In this role, you will provide legal guidance and support related to the development, sale, and administration of the Company's insurance products, absence management solutions, and related services. You will also advise the Company in one or more of the following areas: Group Protection contract review and negotiation, employment law, ERISA, absence management, and privacy.
What you'll be doing
Serving as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders on complex matters involving absence management, statutory disability, and accommodation services. Providing strategic guidance on complex assignments, projects, and initiatives designed to strengthen and enhance Lincoln's absence management, statutory disability, and accommodation service offerings. Acting as a key legal advisor in cross-functional environments, partnering with business leaders to evaluate current and emerging practices, identifying legal and regulatory risks, and recommending appropriate controls and process improvements
