About the Role The Senior Consultant, Fund Accounting New Business is an individual contributor role within the Irish Fund Accounting New Business team at Northern Trust. You will lead client onboarding and ensure operational readiness for funds, with a focus on Luxembourg fund structures, supporting new and existing clients and driving process improvements. What You'll Do
- Lead onboarding of new clients and fund launches, ensuring operational readiness across Fund Accounting
- Serve as the technical and subject matter expert on fund activity, including setup requirements for transitions, fund launches, and in-specie transfers
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the industry and Northern Trust’s system capabilities, infrastructure and data flows
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, solving onboarding challenges and co-creating operating models
- Minimise errors in all deliverables at all stages
- Attend regular meetings with Divisional Managers, Section Managers and Team Leaders and the Bangalore team
- Focus on resolution of complex transitions, interpreting policies, guidelines and processes as required
- Identify and respond to operational risk throughout the business unit What We're Looking For
- Experience and current knowledge of Fund Accounting with a strong focus on Luxembourg-specific requirements and CSSF regulations
- Understanding of industry and NT’s systems, infrastructure and process/data flows
- Strong experience in the alternative and semi-liquid hybrid Luxembourg fund structures
