About the Role The Senior Consultant - Controls Lead, Chief Control Office is a key 1LOD role responsible for designing and implementing Northern Trust’s internal control architecture, taxonomy, inventory and quality standards. The candidate will have SME knowledge of Internal Controls and Operational Risk, with programme delivery experience, and will work in a centralized team to drive consistency in control standards, liaising with stakeholders and senior leaders.
What You'll Do
- Support design and implementation of group-wide control architecture, including taxonomy and inventory; define minimum controls for all non-financial risks.
- Manage the control inventory with quality measures and provide ongoing governance and reporting; oversight across the group via Control Owners.
