Job title: Senior Consultant, Control Tester x3 - Chief Control Office
About the Role
We are establishing a centralized 1LoD Control Testing function within the Chief Control Office and are seeking Senior Consultants to standardize and enhance control testing across business units and corporate functions. The role involves executing control test plans, supporting risk management activities, and providing independent analysis across multiple operational and compliance areas. You will work under general supervision but will primarily execute testing independently, conducting risk-based control reviews and analyzing results to identify trends and remediation opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Leads controls testing execution including walkthroughs, design, and operating effectiveness testing.
- Ensures all testing is properly documented in prescribed templates and in line with the First Line of Defense Control Testing Methodology and testing quality expectations.
- Drafts reporting and incorporates feedback resulting from Test Lead/Manager review.
- Responsible for identification and escalation of follow-ups and potential deficiencies.
- Works closely with stakeholders at varying levels to remediate risk areas while driving improved operations/compliance.
- Assists with control projects, operational and/or corporate risk initiatives, where directed.
