Job title: Senior Consultant, Client Onboarding

About the Role Responsible for managing Custody new business implementations and fund launches. Acts as the focal point of contact for external and internal contacts prior to and throughout the transition, working with sales and client servicing to define the timetable and tasks. Ensures successful onboarding by coordinating cross-functional teams across regions.

What You'll Do

  • Manage new business implementations for global custody clients, coordinating with clients, consultants, prior custodian and investment manager to establish transition guidelines.
  • Serve as primary client contact on transition issues, communicating requirements and Northern Trust expectations to clients, consultants and investment managers.
  • Collaborate with client servicing to determine unique processing needs and translate them into procedures and documentation for internal teams.
  • Participate in pre-implementation meetings, coordinating needs of sales, operations and relationship staff to identify client needs.
  • Coordinate client servicing and transition teams; establish meetings to discuss ongoing servicing requirements.
  • Collect client information (asset lists, key contacts) to ensure accurate account set up and distribute to internal areas.
  • Create and maintain transition project plan and onboarding schedules; update timetables for senior transition and client servicing staff.
  • Provide SME leadership and direction to relevant workstreams; report progress to Project Manager/Program Manager or Steering Group; escalate issues as needed.
  • Act as key client contact for custody project; manage changes to scope or plan, assess risks and resource needs; notify the steering group of impacts.
  • Ensure milestones are met, monitor onboarding schedule and governance documentation; provide regular status updates to all stakeholders.

  • Investment management qualifications advantageous
  • Knowledge of Custody products and services; custody systems capabilities
  • Organizational, analytical, negotiation and project management skills
  • Knowledge of investment management operations within asset management or similar environment
  • Business analysis / project management experience across the complete project lifecycle through implementation
  • Work authorization to work in Ireland at the time of application and during employment

Nice to Have

  • Investment management qualifications would be advantageous
