Senior Construction Superintendent
Location: Boston, MA or Providence, RI Pay Rate: $75-$80/hr. Project Location: Wrentham, MA Per diem Offered along with other incentives
The Senior Construction Superintendent leads all on-site activities for commercial solar construction projects located in the Northeast US, overseeing field operations from mobilization through project closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The Senior Construction Superintendent is a key leader for field staff, subcontractors, and vendors, acting as the primary on-site authority.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall on-site leadership, management, and coordination of solar construction activities.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and contract documents.
- Enforce safety compliance and lead a strong site safety culture.
- Manage multiple subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship.
- Review project drawings, specifications, submittal packages and schedules.
- Ensure RFI's are properly documented in Procore and RFI responses are provided in a timely manner to avoid schedule impacts.
- Coordinate work sequencing and project phasing.
- Monitor and report project progress, including daily logs, reports, and field documentation.
- Coordinate delivery and safe storage of Valta/Owner supplied equipment.
