Responsibilities

• Hiring location: Serbia, Belgrade Employment type: Full-time position through an employment contract Requirement: Candidates must be fully eligible to work full-time under a local employment contract in Serbia Work setup: Hybrid, connected to the local office in Belgrade

• Join IGT’s Blue Goat Studio in Belgrade as a Senior Concept Artist and help define the visual identity of our games from the ground up. In this senior role, you will shape world-class visual directions, elevate the quality of our content, and directly influence how our games look, feel, and stand out in the market. We are looking for a highly creative, technically skilled, and proactive concept artist who is passionate about craft and modern production methods. A key part of this role is actively using AI tools in daily workflows, staying at the forefront of AI-driven creative development, and applying them to accelerate ideation, improve production efficiency, and consistently raise the quality bar toward world-class output. You will work closely with Game Designers, Artists, and Developers to define strong visual directions and translate them into production-ready assets that set the tone for entire game experiences.

• What You Will Do

• Partner with Game Designers and cross-functional teams to define and develop compelling visual directions for games and features

• Create high-quality concept and production art, including characters, environments, backgrounds, UI elements, and visual effects

• Develop strong visual language that guides the entire production pipeline from early ideation to final implementation

• Ensure consistency and world-class quality across all visual assets, helping establish and maintain a strong art direction

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to deliver engaging and visually impactful solutions

• Produce world-class visual content efficiently, balancing creativity with production needs and timelines

• Integrate assets into Unity when needed, supporting implementation and ensuring high visual fidelity in-engine

• Stay on top of industry trends, tools, and visual standards, continuously striving to meet and exceed them across all projects

• Actively use AI tools in the creative workflow and continuously explore new AI-driven techniques to improve speed, quality, and innovation

• Create and support 2D animation assets and motion concepts as part of the production pipeline

• What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in a Concept Artist role. We are open to exceptionally talented candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong potential and craft

• Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects

• Excellent drawing and design fundamentals: composition, color, lighting, form

• Proven experience in 2D animation

• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, versatility, and production-quality work

• Strong understanding of game development pipelines and production workflows

• Proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to take ownership and work independently

• Actively using AI tools and a strong interest in staying at the forefront of AI-driven creative development

• Nice to Have

• Experience working with Unity and/or in-engine asset implementation

• Knowledge of 3D tools: Maya, Blender

• Background in game development or real-time production environments

• Experience with Spine or similar 2D animation tools
