Job title: Senior Compliance Leader
We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Leader to join Block's Line 2 Compliance function for Afterpay ANZ. This role will provide financial services compliance advisory, licensing, governance and frameworks services and support across all Afterpay business units in Australia and New Zealand. You will be AU-based, reporting to the Head of Compliance for Afterpay ANZ and collaborating with teams across multiple time zones.
What You'll Do
- Provide financial services compliance advisory, licensing, governance and frameworks services and support across all Afterpay business units in Australia and New Zealand.
- Lead and contribute to Line 2 Compliance initiatives, aligning with regulatory expectations and Block's policies.
- Advise on licensing requirements and regulatory approvals in Australia and New Zealand.
- Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies and controls to support business growth.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple time zones and business units to provide pragmatic compliance guidance.
- Report to the Head of Compliance for Afterpay ANZ and partner with legal, risk and business teams to ensure a strong, consistent compliance posture.
What We're Looking For
- Proven senior leadership experience in financial services compliance, licensing and governance.
- Deep knowledge of Australia’s and New Zealand’s financial services regulatory landscape, including licensing regimes.
- Track record in building or maturing governance frameworks and policy processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills across multiple time zones.
- AU-based with ability to work effectively with Afterpay ANZ business units.
