Job title: Senior Compliance Counsel

About the Role SimCorp is seeking a Senior Compliance Counsel in Warsaw to help develop and oversee our global Compliance Framework. You will work within the Group Compliance team, providing 2nd Line support, guidance, and training on a broad range of compliance topics including Market Abuse, Data Protection, AI and related areas.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with the global Group Compliance team to develop and oversee the Compliance Framework.
• Collaborate with 1st LoD and cross-functional teams and provide guidance to employees at all levels to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with risk assessments to identify market abuse compliance risks across various functions and regulatory areas.
• Develop and maintain Custody Account monitoring; develop internal training programs (e-learning and in-person) on Market Abuse and Insider Trading.
• Shape the compliance framework in collaboration with internal stakeholders and maintain policies, guidelines, and procedures, including controls and monitoring effectiveness.
• Participate in ongoing monitoring of compliance activities and mitigation measures; support internal audits, client requests, and vendor due diligence questionnaires.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in law or commercial law.
• 2-3 years of experience with Market Abuse Regulations, Insider Trading, or equivalent topics.
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Clear English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong understanding of compliance issues and risks; ability to balance business advice with a high standard of compliance.
• Good interpersonal skills and a sense of humor.
