About the Role Join Semco Maritime in Singapore as a Senior Commissioning Engineer responsible for commissioning, testing and handover of complex telecommunications systems for offshore and onshore Oil & Gas projects. You will manage projects, supervise site activities, and work with a global team to ensure client satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Manage projects and processes with minimal supervision.
- Lead and supervise commissioning activities for GMDSS, VSAT, PAGA, PABX, CCTV, UHF Repeater, and related telecom systems.
- Ensure system functionality, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance at handover.
- Prepare site inspection and commissioning reports; address non-conformities.
- Coordinate on-site fabrication oversight of third-party works.
- Assist Commissioning Manager with resource planning and HSE compliance.
- Provide knowledge sharing and mentorship to junior colleagues.
- Travel frequently to local shipyards, overseas shipyards, and offshore locations.
- Collaborate with global Semco engineers and clients to align with business objectives. What We're Looking For
- Education: Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Experience: Relevant Oil & Gas industry experience.
- Software: Proficiency in Word, Excel, AutoCAD.
- Personal Attributes: high responsibility, multitasking, teamwork, proactive, good interpersonal and technical writing skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently.
