About the Role Volt is immediately hiring for a Senior Commercial Insurance Specialist in Dallas, TX to manage loan insurance requirements and related servicing activities. This role ensures compliance with loan documents, interfaces with borrowers, insurers, and servicers, and supports asset management in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do
- Review loan documents on all new loans to ensure insurance requirements are met.
- Notify borrowers of expirations or deficiencies where insurance does not comply with loan documents.
- Audit insurance renewals and compare against the Insurance Module and received documents.
- Communicate with insurance agencies, prior servicers, and/or borrowers to obtain evidence of renewal of certificates, policies, and endorsements.
- Complete insurance disbursements as needed.
- Assist borrowers/agents with inquiries involving insurance disputes, requirements, premium payments, and cancellation notices.
- Identify loans requiring force-placed insurance.
- Communicate with Asset Management and Servicing as necessary.
- Keep the manager updated on problems, issues, and production flow. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or Insurance license equivalent; minimum five years related commercial insurance experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
- Experience with HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac is a plus.
- Detailed understanding of loan terms, complex loan documents, capital structures, pooling, investor reporting and servicing agreements, servicing functions, and process flows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a customer-oriented team environment with leadership, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate and present to all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a time-sensitive environment. Nice to Have
- Experience with HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $35.00-$39.02 per hour (USD).
