Job title: Senior Commercial Escrow Officer
About the Role Provides escrow services for commercial transactions and facilitates real estate closings with a high level of customer service and proactive communication to both internal and external customers throughout the closing process. This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely processing of escrow documents and funds.
What You'll Do
- Establish new commercial escrow accounts and process escrow documents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Act as a neutral third-party between buyers and sellers during a real estate sale, managing funds and processing real estate transactions.
- Recommend improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve efficiency.
- Understand how teams coordinate efforts and resources to achieve organizational objectives.
- Provide subject matter guidance to team; may allocate work.
- Impacts results of own team and effectiveness of related teams.
- Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems that arise with little or no precedent.
- Exercise judgement based on previous experiences, practices and precedents.
- Evaluate and communicate complex information in a clear, concise manner.
- Exchange ideas and information effectively.
- Work autonomously within established procedures and practices.
- Act as a lead, coordinating the work of others but is not a direct supervisor.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Typically requires 8+ years of related experience.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience leading or coordinating work within a team without direct supervisory authority.
