About the Role Logitech is seeking a Senior CMF Engineer to join a cross-functional team developing consumer electronics. You will translate consumer needs and industrial design into CMF engineering design, collaborate with Marketing, Design, R&D, and Process Engineering, and drive cost, schedule, user experience, and sustainability targets.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the link between ID/CMF design and manufacturing to achieve optimal user experiences and manufacturability.
- Translate concept descriptions from Design and Marketing into feasible engineering activities.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure robust CMF manufacturing processes, design for mass production, and continuous improvement.
- Define reliability testing requirements, protocols, and equipment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure CMF specifications meet product requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest CMF trends and technologies.
- Independently resolve complex CMF issues and act as a technical expert; explain difficult concepts to a variety of audiences.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in material development, decoration processes, color development—preferably in CMF.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of materials science, post-decoration processes like painting, printing, anodizing; ME experience is preferred.
- Experience with fabric, PU industry and related post processes like fabric wrapping, laser, lamination.
- Able to travel domestically and internationally.

- ME experience is preferred.
