Job title: Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design and implement complex, mission-critical enterprise-grade technical solutions for clients. This role focuses on driving modernization efforts for enterprise customers on AWS and Azure, leveraging deep cloud architecture knowledge to enable scalable, secure transformations.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement complex transformational enterprise-grade technical solutions for clients.
• Drive modernization efforts for Enterprise customers on AWS/Azure.
• Assess and plan migrations using AWS Migration Hub or Azure Migrate; modelizeIT, VMware vRNI (Aria Operations).
• Apply AWS/Azure security best practices (IAM, Security Groups, KMS) and implement compliance and operational best practices (monitoring, logging, automation).
• Optimize costs and perform rightsizing for performance and cost efficiency.
• Work with container technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS)); Service Mesh (Istio), Ingress Controllers, Calico CNI, Network Policies; GitOps (FluxCD/ArgoCD); CRDs; Blue-Green deployments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Spacelift, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness, Azure DevOps, AWS CodePipeline/CodeDeploy.
• Use Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Azure ARM, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, Bicep) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef); scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Knowledge of VMware technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX) and VMware HCX for VM migration.
• Develop AI platforms using cloud-native tools like AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Google Vertex; knowledge of LangChain, Langsmith and building RAG-based applications.
• Collaborate to develop platforms for AI and cloud-native solutions with a focus on scalability and reliability.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field; 8+ years IT experience and 4+ years in Cloud, Migration, Automation, Application Modernization, Digital Transformation.
• Experience in Platform, DevOps, Cloud Engineering teams; strong consulting and business acumen.
• Multiple professional certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate; AWS Specialty (Networking/Security); Azure Administrator Associate; CKA/CKAD/CKS; Terraform Associate; Argo Certified Engineer; Istio Certified Engineer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with advanced AI frameworks and building RAG-based applications (LangChain, Langsmith).
• Familiarity with VMware HCX, Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenAI services, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex.
• Experience with additional cloud migration and modernization tools and practices.
